Whitesboro Clean Up Scheduled for April
Celebrate Earth Day with the City of Whitesboro! Start cleaning your closets, garages, and sheds to get rid of all those old, damaged, and unwanted items.
The City of Whitesboro will host a community-wide clean up opportunity beginning April 14 and lasting through April 25.
Dumpsters will be available Monday through Thursday, April 14-17 from 7 am to 5 pm for residents to bring their unwanted items. Dumpsters will also be available on Saturday, April 19 from 7 am to 12 noon. Residents will have access to a loading platform for assistance in moving items. A copy of their recent utility bill must be presented in order to participate. There is no charge for the service. (Friday, April 18 is Good Friday, and city facilities will be closed for the holiday.)
From April 21-25, Whitesboro citizens may request assistance for loading any items they are unable to move without help. This may be done by calling City Hall at 903-564-3311. When calling to request assistance with a pickup, the caller must identify items to be picked up. City staff will invest 20 minutes per visit per residence.
Keep Whitesboro Beautiful has scheduled an e-waste collection for May 27-31.
Additionally, when not awaiting pickup, residents are asked not to leave trash bins by the streets. Please store them next to the residence.
